SUSTAINABILITY WITH RAYMOND BLANC
How do you refresh a stalwart hotel destination for an eco-conscious target audience? Belmond wanted to re-engage their ‘The Sanctuary Seekers’ audiences at Michelin-starred Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons, tucked away in the Oxfordshire countryside, through it’s Chef-Patron Raymond Blanc and his philosophy of sustainable fine dining.
Studio Black Tomato worked with Belmond to create a first-class video for audiences to discover how Raymond Blanc’s passion for sustainable homegrown produce is translated into fine dining at the hotel’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant. This video formed part of ‘The Art of Gastronomy’; Belmond’s content series focussed on exclusive culinary experiences across their hotel portfolio.
The result was an exclusive view behind the scenes of the Michelin-starred kitchen, the world-famous gardens offering the freshest produce, the Raymond Blanc Gardening school, and Raymond Blanc himself whose infectious passion informs his culinary vision. The aim was to immerse the audience into his sustainable world and encourage audiences to share in his fine dining philosophy.
To truly showcase the vision of Raymond Blanc and his culinary excellence, the film was also created using our signature BlackWire interactive service to further immerse audiences and highlight the hotel’s key products. Interactive content included the gastronomic story of Raymond from his past to present day vision, more on the Raymond Blanc Gardening School and Raymond Blanc Cookery School, and a step-by-step video recipe for the audience to create his signature dish in the film ‘The Assiette Anne-Marie’.
Finally, the hero content was further brought to life through paid media social edits created for Belmond to distribute on their Instagram, YouTube and Facebook channels.
