How do you refresh a hotel destination whilst raising awareness of their Michelin dining cuisine focused on sustainability?

Belmond wanted to re-engage their target audience, ‘The Sanctuary Seekers’, with their Chef-Patron Raymond Blanc, renowned Michelin star chef, on his philosophy of sustainable fine dining for the guests at Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons, tucked away in the Oxfordshire countryside.

Studio Black Tomato worked with Belmond to create a first-class video for the audience to discover how Raymond Blanc’s passion for the outdoors and his homegrown produce is translated into his fine dining at the hotel’s two Michelin star restaurant. This video form part of ‘The Art of Gastronomy’, Belmond content series focussed on their hotel’s exclusive culinary experiences.

The result was an exclusive view behind the scenes of the two Michelin star kitchen, the world-famous gardens offering the freshest produce, the Raymond Blanc Gardening school and Raymond Blanc himself immersing the audience into his culinary vision. The aim was to transcend the audience into his sustainable world and discover more on his fine dining philosophy.

To truly showcase the vision of Raymond Blanc and his culinary excellence, the video was also created into our signature BlackWire interactive film to further highlight the gastronomic story of Raymond from his past to present day vision, discover more on the Raymond Blanc Gardening School and Raymond Blanc Cookery School, and a step by step video recipe for the audience to create his signature dish in the film ‘The Assiette Anne-Marie’. The hero content was further brought to life through paid media social edits created for Belmond to distribute on their Instagram, YouTube and Facebook channels.
